I've seen a couple of references here to the SPARS
definitions of terms like 'master tape'. Visiting
the SPARS.com website, I can't find a glossary or any
such resource. How does one get a copy of SPARs
defintions of technical recording terms?

Time machine, maybe?

I went looking for it, too, when I posted about it recently, and
didn't find what used to be there. SPARS has some sort of a handbook
which may contain those definitions, but according to the web site,
it's currently out of print.

Chances are the definitions are out of date by now anyway since they
were originally written in the multitrack analog days.
