Hi All,

I have a couple of questions regarding AKG c408 microphones.

Firstly, I have just got 4 of these mics with 2 B9 battery packs. The
packs each take 2 mic inputs (mono 1/8" jack) and output to a 1/4"
jack. Is this jack stereo or are the mic signals being output mixed on
a mono jack?

Secondly, is it possible to wire the mics to a normal XLR and send
them phantom power from the mixer? I don't like the battery packs.
It's strange though that the mics seem to have mono jack outputs, so I
don't see how I could wire them with phantom power.

Thanks in advance

Mike
