I have a friend who swears by it for fiddle when he does live gigs.
I've heard it in that application and it sounds just fine. He has one
of the finest mic collections anywhere and that's his choice. He uses
other mics in the studio, but this is one he already owns, that
doesn't sound bad in this application, and it's cheap enough to be
expendable (which nearly assures that it will last forever).

Hey Mike
Compare to which Shure and Neummen Microphone? I'm looking for a pair of
mic's that have phantom power or internal battery so I'm not tearing the
microphone apart like my cad's looking for jumpers .
