I had a friend who was married to a woman from Switzerland. Part of her
keeping her cultural heritage current was to display, in their home, her
vast and growing collection of Swiss cowbells. (she bought more every time
she visited home...) These things ranged in size from tiny little bells a
few inches across to giant honkers a foot or more longer. There must have
been more than a hundred scattered throughout the rooms. I wish I had had an
interest in audio recording back then!
