Although some of them new fangled monitor control boxes are very cool,
I sorta put one together on my own piece by piece over the years.
(passive volume control, 4-way distribution that offers a choice of 2
sets of monitors, headphones and a meter send, a good pair of meters,
etc.) As I finish up the permanent wiring of my new room, the only
thing missing is a simple 2-input, 1-output source selector switch. I
need to be able to connect an "A" source and a "B" source and then
switch between them with a simple A/B toggle. (No need for "Neither"
or "Both" options). Although I realize that I could do this myself,
there just aren't enough hours in a day recently. I'm hoping that
somebody makes a very solid little box that doesn't screw with the
audio signal too badly. Two sets of XLR inputs, one set of XLR
outputs and a switch. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
