magnepans on a wall (followup to other post)

thanks for all the response on the other post. i read what everybody
said. Mr. Dorsey was saying that a subwoofer with mangepans could be
a problem due to time dicrepancy issues at the crossover point (if i
understood correctly).

what if you used a steeeeeeep crossover to compensate?

i was thinking of hanging the mmg-w's on the wall as "nearfields" (i
like big speakers) and then adding a sub. and then positioning the
sub on the floor so it is the same distance from my ears as the
magnepans hanging on the wall. that way both soundfields arrive at
the listening position at the same time.
