Anybody got a source for some decent oddball size speakers. I volunteered
to help out a friend who uses some home audio speakers for announcing to a
small venue. I pulled the covers off figuring I could use some off the
shelf speakers I have on hand, but they are an odd ball. 6 1/4s are too
small to fit the opening, and 8s are too big. These like a 7 1/4. It is
low power (partial volume on an 80watt peak power amp), and voice range
only so any mediocre speaker will do.

I have some Peerless 872757 bass/midrange speakers that might be
what you need. I'll sell them at my wholesale cost of $46.39 each plus
shipping. I don't know of anything else that is low priced. If cost is
an object then making a masonite template to use a 6 1/2 inch or
enlarging the hole.
