Does anyone know what the volts are for a normal headunit tele mute such as
on a Clarion?
Many thanks

That wire is intended to receive the grounded 'mute' signal from a cellular
phone. When the phone rings, it sends a ground to the radio, which then
reduces volume while the phone is in use.
If there's any voltage on it, it's only leakage from the relay or IC that
switches the radio's mute circuit.
