When it receives an input from one source (a)
It switches off the main source (B)
Until source (a) turns off then it lets source (b) come back on
(a) Would have priority
(b) Would be running all the time with short interruptions for source
(a) (witch is my hands free car kit)

Never seen such a device... but Ive been out of the scene for a while.
I think they make video source switchers that do this...???
Many 1/2 din preamps have 2 source inputs, but they are not
automatically switched.

If you're wanting to interrupt the audio signal (mute) from the radio while
your cell phone (HF Kit) is in use, you just need a relay or two...
