I have a Web site where I offer samples of English speech
from various parts of the world. The files are duplicated
in MP3 and WAV formats. I get "file not found" reports from
people looking for the same files, but with the qualifier
".smi".
Would someone like to tell me something about that file
type, like who uses it and why, and where I could maybe
learn how to convert files from MP3 or WAV to SMI?
