Hi Folks,
I have an approx. 20 year old Panasonic stereo unit with turntable,
radio, and tape deck, model SG -V11. I am currently using a car type CD
to cassette adapter to play a CD through the tape deck. Is it possible
to use the stereo's mic jack with the "line-out" on the little CD
player? (Also, with the cassette adapter, it seems that one speaker
doesn't get the full volume. I thought the cassette adapter might not
be lining up correctly with the tape deck head. I have tried it with 2
different cassette adapters. The deck plays tapes very well. CD player
works good with computer type amplified speakers, both speakers.) Will
I get stereo with the mic jack?
Could I hard wire a jack in the stereo for "line-in" somehow? (I
have installed a switch to cut power to the tape deck's motor when I
play a CD to save the belt which I had a hard time finding and
replacing.)
Thanks, Joe.
