I think I finally figured out what's wrong with Howard:

Sorry, it must be some other ailment
"Often overly sensitive to sounds, tastes, smells, and sights,"
I would argue that Howard is oblivious, not overly sensitive.

What about the voices in his head? He certainly does appear to be sensitive to
and responding to internal stimuli. Very reminiscent of Don Quixote's
"Impossible Dreams".

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that if you had the extreme misfortune of being
a fly on the wall in the House of Ferstler, you'd be utterly shocked with how
****ing weird he really is.

I'm not sure if it mentions it on this particular website, but people with
Asperger's Syndrome often do very well with academic careers and often wind up
being teachers and researchers and, well, library clerks. They also abhor
change, and their world generally falls apart if things get mixed around.
Kind of reminds you of why Howard says he didn't finish his Ph.D, eh?

The mere thought of that makes me shiver, you will note.

That's what all you tweako-freakos say, Clyde. My walls are all padded in my
hospital ...........er, I mean, trailerl,............I mean, house. You
nitwits sometimes cause me to lose my quasi-scientifric concentration, but you
fools don't know anything about audio compared to me. After all, you've never
done any double blind, double deaf tests of liquid state amplifiers, have you?
My wrecking balls are going to go right over your heads and help new listeners
see the snake oil and bugeater venom the evil rear end audio cabal is trying
to fool you clowns with. Even though I didn't get my Ph.D. I can still
bloviate at a highly sophisticated level. Of course, it's right over your
heads.

Relax Clyde, it is only a hobby.
I must run off now, there is another tornado on the way and I still
have not checked my humidity levels today, note.

Get a life, Sanders.
Hay, hay, hay!!!
P.S. Buy my books - printed on toilet tissue to make them affordable for the
European postal cistern - and also for easy disposal/flushing after their most
popular use. (Feel free to copy as much as you want - just like I did!).

At least I do not "hear" things (amp, CD player, and wire
"artifacts"), which is more than I can say for you
goofballs.
