Sup ya'll?

I'm needing opinions/recommendations on amps. I have a '94 Accord, removed
all the stock speakers and now have 2 6x9's (back) and 2 4's (front), I want
to get an amp to push 2 12's (Quake's) in the trunk, I'm lookin for somethin
around $100 or so, and have been thinkin on gettin the Lightning Audio
B2.150.2, obviously I'm not goin for competition or anything, I just wanna
be able to push my subs without poppin my 6x9's. Help is appreciated. Holla

$100 dollars? Hit up Ebay and pick up a used amp with about 200x2 RMS. Any of
the big boys will do. Spend a couple of weeks there and a good deal will come
along.

I like my profile california 1200. New for $180, bought mine used for
$130. run mine @ 2 ohms stereo and it gets warm on hot days cranking
techmaster PEB, but does not overheat. there are other amps in their CA
line that will suit your needs. IMHO great amps for the $$$

You can still find the older ones (blue and white) on ebay used or new
overstock.

If by "help" you mean that you want someone to agree/disagree with your
choice ... Good choice. Let us know if you are pleased with the results.
1 question for you though. What would cause the 6x9s to pop if you are using
the amplifier for the 12s?

By help I mean advice/opinions/recommendations that I stated in my first
sentence. I thought that by plugging my twelves into the setup without an
amp it would probably end up causing my 6x9's to bust.

Actually it would be your Head Unit that would not be happy with it. Too low
impedence.
Look at Bazooka amps on Ebay, never personally used one but they appear to be
good bang for the buck. Just remember to be patient on Ebay and a good deal
will come along.
