Long story short, I am designing a new box and I need more space. I am
considering looking at aperiodic vents as a possible solution. I
realize the down side will be the loss of efficiency, which I am
willing to give as I have more than enough power to the sub. Has
anyone had experience with these vents in a car audio sub box? Looking
for information on the Dynaudio Variovent as that is the one I have
seen used in plenty of home audio systems. If I use a vent what kind
of increase am I looking at, 10%? Does this decrease sound quality in
car? I have a mostly SQ setup. Sub in question is a PPI pro12, eh?

try searching the tempro.com forums, this has been discussed many times
there before. I have no first hand experience.
