I'm wiring 2 kicker comp VR subs to a 400 watt mono amp (2 ohm capable).
The speakers are dual voice cone. I have the option of wiring the cones in
series (8 ohm) and then having both speakers in parallel present a 4 ohm
load to the amp. Or I can wire the cones in parallel (2 ohm) and wire both
speakers in series (again 4 ohm load). Electrically, I'm not sure if there
is any difference. Is there a preferred way to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Dan
