My front soundstage consists of 2 6.5" Crystals and 2 pioneer tweets.
I run them all from a single amplifier which is a Lanzar 1000w 4ch
Rack. Gain is set at 25% and ran thru the internal HP crossover.
Just installed the amplifier and previous to the install they were
running off my pioneer deh-p7400mp headunit. They sounded as great as
HU powered drivers could. I'm finally running my whole system from
the rca outputs and 2 amps. Now I have a high frequency
scratching/crackle sound occuring in all 4 front drivers. (No
problems from the subs and their amp) At first I thought I blew the
speaker but upon lowering the volume from middle down to 3 I can still
here it. What gives? Appreciate Intelligent input.

You'll have to take things apart to track this down. It doesn't sound
like cooked speakers since all 4 do it. It could be cooked crossovers
or maybe the RCA output on your HU never worked. A handheld amplified
speaker can be a great help here.
