Hey all,
Had my system up and running for nearly 3 years until other day i
started blowing fuses. Main fuse near battery and fuse at distro
block on the amplifier side blew, both are rated at 60A.
But the other side of the distro block didnt blow, (used for the cap).
Replaced a few times and continues blowing the fuses.
Wiring looks ok, but didnt completely rip it out. Problem with amp
maybe?
It's a RF 800a2. Have 4 g from battery to distro block, then 8 g to
amp and cap.
Any help or ideas i appreciate, thanks guys and gals.

You may want to start by testing the 4g wire to ground (perhaps something
has been rubbing against it and finally grounded it)

went out today, and disconnected amp, replaced fuses and did not blow.
hooked amp back to power and didnt blow. But when i turned amp on
(remote +12V, i have wired to a switch to turn on/off) both fuses
blew, figuring there is shaort in amp itself, as jammy mentioned?
Checked all wires and connections and all seem fine.

Yes. If it blows the fuse only when the remote wire comes on, the problem's
most likely in the output section. If it blows the fuse immediately when
hooked up WITHOUT the remote wire, the power supply is bad.
