It is (4 Ohm) 50 x 4 + 200 x 1, (2 Ohm)
100 x 4 + 300 x 1, (the sub channel is
actually rated at 1/2 ohm stable.

It has an elaborate x-over network
built in also. I f you want full details,
go to www.soundstream.com and
download the owners manual for the REFRENCE 705. It is the same amp
except for the chrome plating.

I would probably take $ 450 for mine.
It retailed for over $1200 when I
bought it new.

I HAVE A BRAND NEW ONE I PURCHASED BACK IN 1995. STILL IN THE BOX WITH
EVERYTHING. NEVER BEEN USED AND STILL IN THE PLASTIC. I WANT 1000 FOR
IT NO LESS. THERE WAS ONLY 800 OF THESE MADE. I BOUGHT TWO. ONE I USE
EVERYDAY, I LOVE IT AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT UNTIL IT DIES.

I am intersted in buying another soundstream continuum. I have one now
and absolutly love it. Please send me an email with pics prefered as
to the amps for sale. The new one sounds great but unfortunatly I dont
beleive I would be able to make the 1000 price tag. It would be worth
ever penny in my opinion. Please let me know either way. Mike

There is no new equivalent to the continuum, and hasn't been for at least 6
years. Your best bet will be eBay or to continue to look here.

I have a continuumand may be interested in parting with it, if the price
were right. I have had it for some time and have always loved the amp, I
just keep thinking I would like to have something different. The amp is not
perfect, it does have a few fine scratches on the top of the heat sink (the
surface where Soundstream is printed, although not in that area) Other than
that, it is in great shape, works 100% and I have the box and owners manual.
Let me know what you think its worth and I may be able to make a deal with
you.

well I got my last one for 400 shipped from across country. Maybe yo
caould show me a pic or two so I can see how good or bad the scratche
are. Also I dont like to offend people so maybe you could throw out
starter number of what you would like to see for it. Also could we us

What have you used it to power. Have you ever had it serviced for an
reason. Has it ever been exposed to moisture in the past. I lov
