Same subject, different trouble.

My mp70's knobs, and the setup functions they control, don't work. I
swapped my faceplate with a friend's indentical setup, and the knobs
work. His faceplate's knobs ... that's right, they *don't* work on my
setup.

I'm betting that the connections are bad, got a better guess?
