I have a couple RF RFP3212 subs in a sealed enclosure, powered by a RF 750S
amp and 1F RF cap. One of my subs two weeks ago broke - one of the negative
terminals (the short copper color wire) became seperated from the coil
internally, thus ruining the coil. The other coil, and all other terminals
appeared to be fine and worked, as is the other sub fine.
I am expecting my replacement sub to arrive wednesday. How can I prevent
this from happening to my other sub here and the new sub? Did I just happen
to get a bad sub out of the draw? The system is properly tuned with no
distortion to ruin them.
Did I just get a bit of bad luck from the pile, or is there a probable
reason and cause for this?
