Will Pro Tools LE 6.1.1 run on an Athlon 64?

I'm going to build a new box to run my Digidesign 002Rack-based
system. I want to use the new AMD Athlon 64, but to my knowledge,
Digi doesn't yet support it. PT 6.22 will run on a G5 with Panther,
which is a 64bit system, but will it run on the Athlon 64? Does
anyone have experience running PT on htis chip? Or, should I play it
safe and go with the Barton 3000+

BTW: I used to be a hard core Mac user for audio when I was playing
with other pepoles money... LOL But, when it's my $$$--I look for a
ore cost-friendly solution... Thanks

I know of at least 2 users with 64bit processors. And it seems to be the
king of the hill for PTLE systems.
This will give you a parts buying guide if you want to build your own.
