Where has the Tascam MX2424 forum gone ?

Vaporized. About two years ago, the TASCAM web site discontinued their fora. A
tragedy, and short-sighted on their part.

New management at TASCAM decided that their product managers and
support techs had more important things to do than talk to customers
on line. Rather than suffer the "Doesn't anyone from the company ever
read this forum?" and "My Recorder Sucks" posts that appear now and
then (and go unanswered) they decided to discontinue the forum.

When TASCAM initially set up the forum, getting the company people
involved and known to the participants was really important to them.
Not too long after TASCAM's forum appeared and was such a success,
Mackie started one but took the approach that it was a place for users
to talk to other users, and that the company folks would only
participate to the extent of correcting mistakes posted by users that
might mislead somoeone, or to announce a new product or software
version. Different philosophies, but Mackie's is still around.
