toast can't find my burner

for a while every time i tried to burn a disk on my ezquest fire wire
c d burner it found a different reason to not work. i would find a way
to re set things and it would work. i turned things on and
off in extensions manager. unplugged and replugged fire wire cables,
reinstalled toast. i don't know what to try next but it will probably
only work one time. any ideas

Make sure you disable the itunes/mac built in CD burning extensions.

try rebooting in 9.2(i am assuming you have a mac)
some burners are not 0sx 10.2/3 ready yet
my iomega will not link while I am in 10.3 but works great when I reboot
to 9.2
