Anyone else had a problem with a staticy type of noise coming from the
outputs of your mbox?

Similar to the kind of noise you get when putting sound card to close to a
graphics card.

This is on PC using Pro Tools 6.1.1 and all latest drivers and service
packs.

Thanks,

Phil

I think there was a post here (or somewhere, in any event) about this
recently.. seems like it only happens with certain motherboards, and one
person heard it diminish (but not disappear) when he added a separate
USB controller card.

So it sounds like the Mbox is incredibly susceptible to any electrical
noise transmitted over the USB bus.

Possibly, but also make sure that your MBox has the latest firmware
installed. Get it from the Digidesign web site under their downloads.
Should be version 2.
