I'm with you on that. In my opinion, no one who *wants* to be president
is qualified to actually *be* the president. The first clue that someone
shouldn't be in power is that they desire power.

I've always felt that exact same thing. The fact that a person could even
THINK they could run a country scares me. There's a great scene in
"Gladiator" to that effect. Marcus Aurelius is asking Maximus to "take over"
Rome when he dies.
Marcus Aurelius: Won't you accept this great honor that I have offered you?
Maximus: With all my heart, no.
Marcus Aurelius: Maximus, that is why it must be you.
But then again, somebody's got to run the country so I guess even if you
know you're not completely capable (as no person is) it's better that
someone like that be in office than someone who believes themselves
completely capable.
