I'm replying to all of the comments together in one post to save
space.

First off I want to express my extreme appreciation and thanks for the
quality of your responses. This was exactly the type of critique I was
hoping for, and I am sure it will benefit the sound of my demo.

Now, onto the responses:

Dual 1.25Ghz Macintosh G4
Titanium G4 Laptop
Logic Audio Platinum
MOTU 828
EXS 24 (soft sampler)
Waves plugs (C1, L1, L1+UltMax, RenComp, RenEQ, RenVerb, BBE
Maximizer)
TC Electronics reverb plug
Lexicon PSP84 plugin
Electrovoice RE-20 (kick drum)
Shure SM-57s (snare/toms)
Audio Technica Pro37Rs (overheads)
Lexicon MPX1 (guitar effects)
Morley Wah Pedal
Mackie 1402 mixer/mic preamps
Event 20/20 BAS
Line 6 Pod 1.0 (all guitar tracks)
Fender Bassman 200 combo (line out for bass tracks)
Mapex Drums, Zildjian cymbals

I can go into more details about my mix settings later... I know
mackie/pod is a suckasss combo but i don't think it dooms me to hell
or completely ****ty sound either.

Common thread... What can I do to get more power?

OK, we didn't have a proper stand so the floor tom was mic'd from
underneath. I am considering using the tom tracks to trigger sampled
toms unless you have a way to improve the tone of what we recorded.
Any ideas???

I've heard this many times before... How can I make it edgier, more
powerful, more intense, more PUNK RAWK, more drill into your brain and
HEAVY DIRTY DISTORTED KILL YOU IN BURNING FLAMES sounding???

Bingo

will waves plugs work? Do you mean the drum submix or the entire mix?
Any settings tips?

any suggestions welcome.

Thanks again and looking forward to your comments!!!!!

Flip the polarity on the tom mic and see if that solves anything. If
you're micing from above and below at once, they'll be out of polarity
unless you do this.

I'm betting you could compress/limit a lot more given you want that
sound.

I listened only to the Calibos track and was WAY disappointed by the
lack of vocals. Overall it was a cool groove but kinda harsh on the
highs. It needs vocals otherwise it is unusable.
