Someone once told me (paraphrasing):

The shaman and the psychopath swim in the same ocean--but the shaman has a facemask and a snorkel.

Yes Will, I was extremely presumptive - in thinking you had even a
slight clue. My bad.

The further he travels, the more he knows.

And you would defend/recommend the path of psychedelics as a path to "see
God" based on what, David? Your personal experiences with a Shaman were...?

I would hope you hold this subject to the same standard of review as you
might recording gear - at the very least.

If you could pay just a liiiiittle more attention to what people are
actually saying to you instead of just shooting stuff back at them, you
wouldn't have had to ask.

In joing this chat, in a response to what I called The Miho Bible, I
said "I am not advocating drug use of any kind, including Budweiser,
Viagra and Marlboros."

How's that for a review - I even used a quote.

The main problem with finding god on drugs is, when you come down, God
splits.

Ouch. You're right though. That goes for anything you think causes you to
"feel" God though, not just drugs. It's fine when things are going your way
but those people who, when they are "up", are full of praise for God are
miserable and lost when they don't have that feeling. I think that's why
it's important that your "faith" (which is not, contrary to the belief of
some, the "opposite" of reason and logic) needs to be based on reason and
logic. Because regardless of what the televangelists like to preach the
"health, wealth, and prosperity" message is BS. "In this world you WILL have
trouble". And you better have something more to rely on than your serotonin
level.
