I decided to record a song with 96khz/24bit, mainly to see if that really
improves the sound quality. Everything worked fine except that when I loaded
a 44.1KHz sample to the software sampler (Kontakt) the samples sound about
an octave too high. This problem occurs only when I run Kontakt as a DXi
plugin in Sonar. If I lock the soundcard sample rate to 96 Khz and run the
sampler stand-alone it works fine. Any ideas what could wrong with the
system?
