Swee****er has the Sennheiser one (MZS 421) for about $50.

I strongly recommend the thing. It does not break like the stock mount does.

A 421 will fit into the shockmount for a Marshall V67. For a little
more than the price of a shockmount, you could get a nice cheap mic to
play with.

The universal shockmounts of www.shockmounts.com work well also.

HI folks,

seems that helpers ahve ended up stripping out the stand mount for my
sEnnheiser 421. I've been thinking about a shock mount for it anyway
as it's my main spolken word and voice-over microphone. Any
suggestions on models and where to find one?

Thanks,

May check into that. sUre wish there was a local pro-audio deler.
I'll check one guy locally but if he's not into these I'll call
swee****er. DOn't know if he can get much other than crown DBX JBL
etc. Will pay a little more if I can get it from him just because
he's local and he doesn't call me on the phone and bug me.

Kind of don't like to use that supplier though as when I was pricing some gear for a
performing arts nonprofit I was helping with their sales weasel drove
me crazy for about the next six weeks, guess he didn't understand I
had to submit proposals to a board and price comparsions all this good
stuff <g>.

thanks,
