which file type?

I did a Google search on this and couldn't find a suitable answer...when
starting a new Pro Tools session, I've always chosen the SDII file format,
probably out of habit because the older PT didn't have .wav or .aiff
options. My question is which format is best if the final output goes to an
audio CD, or does it matter?

It's the same data, just in a different order with different headers.
