This is an interesting radio interview....
"Would you pay $10,000 for a pair of Speakers? Timothy Hill
Well if you would, this is what you would get. These new speakers from
Ferguson Hill don't just look stylish, as you might expect they also
sound amazing. But would most of us appreciate what we would get for
this exceptional price tag – and what goes into creating some of the
most expensive speakers in the world. The speakers' inventor Timothy
Hill tells us why his creation should be music to your ears."

You hear a lot of interesting radio interviews, don't you...in your
role as a shill for PlanetEarthRadio? Viral marketing is one thing
that really raises ire around here, so be aware you are doing your
client more harm than good.
If you didn't put up the transparently fake front, you might get more
people to check it out.
Beware the automatic charges to one's credit card after the trial
period is up.

I just head a great interview with an expert who says the problem
isn't learning disability - it's teaching disability, and that alot of
teachers are incapable of meeting the learning needs of children. This
guy claims that alot of these problems can be helped by understanding
how our minds work.

Just listened to some great interviews on Mars and Saturn. This is the
intro to the one on Mars:
The Mars Global Orbiter has come up with what looks like conclusive
proof of substantial rivers and waterflow on Mars, possibly several
billion years ago. It provides clear, unequivocal evidence that some
valleys on Mars experienced the same type of on-going, persistent
water flow as rivers do on Earth. We spoke to Ken Edgett at Malin
Space Systems in San Diego, whose team created and controls the
Orbiter camera. Ken gives us a detailed report on what these amazing
pictures reveal.

I just listened to a great interview about a new cancer treatment.
This is what the introduction said:
Dramatic breakthrough in the search for a Cancer cure - Jennifer West
Scientists are reporting a significant breakthrough in their war on
cancer. They've discovered a way of destroying tumors with amazing
accuracy and no damage to surrounding tissues. Using nanotechnology,
tiny ‘nanoshells' are injected into the tumor to destroy it. Tests in
mice have been successful and this could result in treatments for
humans which will be used on cancers which are currently inoperable.
Jennifer West, associate Professor of Bioengineering at Rice
University is leading the research and reveals more in this
fascinating interview.

Another Ty Ford Short Story;
Years ago I was asked by a friend at an ad agency to write copy for some
speakers in a local high end hi-fi store. My friend was not a stupid man. He
had written copy for years. As a favor, I went to the store.
I don't remember what brand these speakers were, but they cost about $4000!
They did have a "box" and they weren't BOSE. They were smallish bookshelf
speakers.
I listened and asked if the speakers used platinum wiring or if any rare
gems were used in pivotal points and was told NO.
I went back to my friend and said that I had an answer for him, but was
probably sure he wouldn't like it. He bit. I said, given this system cost 5
times what a pair of JBL 4311 studio monitors cost, you would expect them to
sound that much better. They didn't. As a result, the ONLY reason that the
speakers should cost this much is so they could be bought by people who
would try to impress their friends by telling them HOW MUCH THEY PAID FOR
THESE GREAT SPEAKERS.
The ad never ran.
Regards,
Ty Ford
