anybody catch a glimpse of those ugly freakin' things?

i thought the original ones looked and sounded just fine, and i
believe they sold quite well for Neumann. now they look completely
corny, and i'm not smart enough with electronics to even guess why
they went with a "robot vulva" look.

A new TLM 103? Theres no new TLM 103, sorry. There's the BCM 104, but
thats a different story.

This is still the new and the old TLM 103.

Anybody heard one? Much less bulky than a typical announcer mic hanging
in its shockmount...

Hhmm, I think the BCM 104 looks kinda interesting. Although it also
possibly looks like a demo/eval TLM 103 returned by Roger Daltry . . . . . .
