benchmark a-d vs. d-a

anybody ever use/hear a recent model benchmark a-d?

i heard the d-a at AES and thought it was great.

The Benchmark ADC-1 has not yet been released... their previous
model sounded excellent... and I don't doubt the new unit will
sound excellent as well...

I agree with the excellence of the card based Benchmark AD's. If I only had
a spare $15K...

The one I referred to is a two channel unit and about $1,500 [or a bit
less].
