Analog tape how many uses ?

I have some good amount of used 1/2" tapes that have been used from 1-3
times for projects.
If erased properly are the usable for real projects ,or should I
ecounter any problems like dropouts etc. ?

I'd suggest using it to wrap Christmas gifts for your studio friends.

Acutally, depending on what the "projects" were, you may be able to
re-use the tape, or it may be shot. The only way to know is to try it.
