Does this still exist? I've changed computers a few times since it was
set up, and while I suspect I'm still registered in it, I don't have
the URL in any of my bookmark files any more.
I have a question more appropriate for the Pro-Audio mailing list than
this newsgroup, but that seems to be in flake status again. I thought
I'd try the other route if it's still around.

Hi Mike,
I'm not sure about Glen's site but on Bob Katz's site he still has some of
Glen's pages up and there is contact info in them ( although they may be
totally out of date ) :

I check the newsgroup feed from there every day but I haven't seen any
new postings for months. The news server for all of Glen's boards
(Mastering, Pro Audio and Sadie) is webbd.nls.net but you have to be
registered on the web board first.
Cheers.
James.

I'm registered on the web board. That's the URL I was looking for. I
don't need to set up to use the news server.
Glen set this web board up during a dark period on the Pro-Audio list
a couple of years back and he was trying to get the list moved over to
it, but there was enough resistance, I guess, that they didn't. Too
bad there isn't more participation.

I tried to help, during a dark period of rec.audio.pro - or at least a
disgusting period on rec.audio.pro. But there simply weren't enough
participants to make it viable.

I didn't realize the mailing list still existed. I fell off of it when
a change in my e-mail address coincided with that "dark period" and
never heard another thing about it. Is it still active? Or does it
still exist, but in a coma?

Although as pointed out here, there's not much activity. I have found
some good info on the board however.

The mailing list still exists and has now been fixed. There is an active
discussion about sample rate conversion going on at the moment. I
understand that they will be changing mail server software in a few days
in order to make things more reliable.
You'll find information about it somewhere at pgm.com.
Cheers.
James.

I just got a digest overnight. Apparently there were some junk
messages that were clogging up the Majordomo manager software, and
that's now been cleared out. It's going to move from Majordomo to
something else soon, and that should make it easier to subscribe and
manage your subscription, since the new system is web-based for
subscriptions. It looks like things are back on track.
