Has anyone used this or have an opinion on it? I'm looking for
something that can be used as a di' while also being able to be
applied during a mix. Seems like this unit may qualify. Would be very
interested in people's opinions.

Simon,

Had a bassist come through six or seven weeks ago with one in the rig:
he wasn't especially impressed and was planning on returning it. My
understanding was that it wasn't bad; rather, it just wasn't much of
anything.

I had a similar experience in demoing the Acoustic Xciter: it's a
pretty decent DI, but I couldn't get any king of appreciable effect by
engaging the tone shaping circuit.
