This is not news to most but a necessary thread to start.
It is hard to gain a positive reputation for customer service. It is
harder to maintain it. Eventually somehow, sometime, a sale just won't
go smooth. What matters is how a dealer handles the sales experiences
that do go easily. Some shops simply don't care. They work in volume
and assume the majority of customers won't care that much if they have
a bad experience because they are only buying on price anyway.
Other shops, rare shops, care about customer service. When something
doesn't go right, they want to learn to see if it is preventable and
avoidable. Thus being the best shop they can.
Fletcher has proven that he wants Mercenary to be the best pro audio
shop it can.
Mercenary Audio is doing pro audio right and anyone pro audio shopping
ought to give them a chance.
PS. This is not an ad but a neccesary post to give credit where it is
due.
Best to all,

I second that Chris! Had a nice little discussion with someone at
Mercenary before settling on our RNP. Much more personable than most
places we deal with. What I really liked was the fact that they did
not try to sell us on something other than what we were looking for.
At that time, we bought probably one of the least expensive pieces
that they sold.
One correction for the title, though. Should that not be, "Mercenary
== Great Pro Audio Shop" :-)

I think that Mercenary is a good example and model for the rest of the Pro
audio industry. I am starting a business project..based on quality and
integrity..and I have never encountered so much negativism and naysaying in my
entire career. Doing things the right way is swimming upstream in many cases
but always worth it..IMO.
