Hey Guys,

Was looking at getting a pair of Earthworks SRO's. Just wanted to get your
thoughts. How are they? What applications are you guys finding best for
them?

Thanks,
Brian

I've got a pair that I use with a DIY Jecklin disk for both
amplified and acoustic music. I often put them on stage for
rock bands over a floor monitor to get vocals. I like the
bottom end much better than cardiods (SR71s) ORTF.

I also use them in the radio studio on small drum kits when
the rest of the band is relatively quiet.

I can provide a link for sample recordings.

My understanding(from conversation with Eric Blackmer) is they are
essentially a TC20k (that is, a TC30k except flat only to 20k instead
of 30k), and appropriately less costly. Definitely mics I would also
be interested in, since I've had such good luck with other Earthworks
products. But I haven't heard them yet.
