I have just grabbed an apogee mini me and so far am getting great results
with the line in, however when I try out the Rode N2 I don't seem to get
enough signal to resister sound! The AKG 1000 works fine and I suspect I am
missing something basic here (its been a long day...)
Any suggestions welcome!

This is a joke, right? I hope so..
By the way, I tried a Mini-Me.. returned it in a hurry because at high
gain settings, the noise is really awful. When you have to record
fairly quiet sources you're in trouble!
