recording drums with aardvark direct pro 2496

hi all,
i'm fairly new to digital recording and I have just bought the
aardvark cirect pro 2496.

i was wondering if anyone in the group has had experience of recording
drums with this piece of kit, and how the recordings turned out.

any other practical tips would be much appreciated as well
