Damned straight, Bob. If God is on our side, like Bush says, then he better
start helping sometime soon before victims get into the multiples of 10s or
100s of millions. As demonstated in both Kashmir with the 4 simultaneous
theater bombings, and the recent one in Saudia Arabia, these guys don't even
care about killing Arabs or Muslims. They apparently just want to kill.
And if the Muslim guys are right and it's only about 10% of the Muslims,
then that's still 120 million crazed individuals out there willing to kill
as many as they can on a whim.
Then again, if God really decided to take part in our little wars, 6 million
Jewish people wouldn't have been killed by the Nazis. Nor 2 million Tutusi
by the Hutusi. Nor 6 million Cambodians by Pol Pot, nor an additional 2
million Vietnamese by their own northern brothers immediately after our
withdrawal. The list goes on, the wars apparently will go on, as any
philosphy known to man acknowledges, so perhaps we'd better rely on our own
perseverence to not allow these types of things to continue to happen.
Knowing how to war doesn't take a knowledge of history. Knowing how not to
war does, and if anyone is believing in God enough to make determinations
based on their selection by God to fight a war, then history won't show them
anything new.
Apparently God is busy, and if he isn't, then by the time he decides to act,
it ain't going to look good on anybody's record.
