Sennheiser EW G2 Programming

According to the service manual the main board data can be updated
via an optical interface hooked up to a PC, but "special' Sennheiser service software is needed on the PC to drive this.
It appears to be similar to RS232 but via a optical interface.

Anybody know where to get the service software and any details about the
optical interface.

I have a EW G2 body pack that needs to be re-configured.

they don't include the SW for the G2 series here but this link was still helpful. thank you
