We have a big console. Well, the top part of it anyway. Somebody
dumped a pot of coffee on it so most of the tracks don't work, but
theoretically you could learn what the knobs and stuff are supposed to
do - if anyone ever finds the manual.
There is a guy who comes by every now and then and points at it. We
take a picture whenever he does.
There is also one cute chick who occasionally drops by the studio.
She may be the sister/girlfriend/wife of the guy who points at the
console. Don't get too hopeful that you will be "the one" that chats
her up into having coffee after class. The console pointing guy might
poke you in the eye.
There are some other guys in the class too. Unfortunately they are
always moving the faders on tracks that you can't reach when you're
trying to mix your project. Some of them are moving the knobs and
faders to impress the chick.
Just imagine, master classes from Bob Clearmountain, Ed Cherney,
George Martin, Bob Rock, and more award winning producers and
engineers. Keep imagining - close your eyes - almost seems real huh?
All of our staff have a proven track record. Well OK one of them ran
track in high school and he also has a record.
