i'm looking into picking up some extra work to satisfy my insatiable
gear jones (an equipment designer's dream!).
is it realistic in the current climate to find some pickup work in NYC
as a 2nd engineer or edit person? I'm a good all-arounder, and learn
quickly. I also sing and play many instruments if they needed an
occasional overdub.
i'd be comfortable in either a traditional recording studio or
something like an edit house for advertising spots or voiceovers.
