Hi, I was hoping someone could help me here:
I recently purchased a MidiSport 2x2 MIDI-to-USB converter, so that I
could run a MIDI cable out of my digital multi-track into the
converter, and then run a USB cable into my computer and use the
multi-track's mic inputs to record my band's new album with Cubase.
However, when I try to do this, Cubase registers the incoming sound
(this is obvious because of the change in level meters), but the
signal itself seems to be routed back through the USB cable and into
the converter instead of into BUS 1 (where the signal ought to go).
So, recording is impossible. If anyone can help me here, I could
REALLY appreciate it--it's been very frustrating trying to get this to
work. Thanks so much.
