Censorship of Loudness War Discussion on GearSlutz

Any mention of "decreased crest factor", "music getting louder over past 20 years" relative to trends of decades before that, or direct reference to loudness war itself is CENSORED by moderators and labeled a "personal crusade".

All the evidence is out there. These are mastering engineers who must "crush" music for a living, so of course they will deny it's happening!

It is your own personal hobby horse, and everyone is rightly annoyed
when you ride it aroudn their forums. Especially because you have no
grasp of the technical or business issues. You're ****ing people off,
