hi guys,
can gigasampler understand incoming midi messages that are "in between
the cracks" in terms of pitch?
let's say you had a string sound and you wanted to retune the scale to
some exotic tuning that doesn't fall into 12 half-steps. if the
incoming midi message from you keyboard controller was spitting out
this weird tuning to the computer that has gigasampler on it, would
gigasampler respond properly? or would you get an error message
because you're feeding it a weird note?
the basic idea in gigasampler is to sample every half-step on a piano,
for example. so if the incoming midi message is "in between" the two
samples that are in the giga program file, what would happen?
