View Full Version : Remember the guy that came with his own stalker?

Was his name Bob or something? There was another
email address that would always shoot incredibly
disparaging remarks toward him. Then in defense,
'Bob' or whatever his name was, would claim that
the writer of the remarks was some damaged poor
troll that belonged in jail or an institution.

Those were the good 'ol days.

I sometimes wondered if they weren't really
the same person.

I can remember some interesting R-A-P tirades from Brian McCarty, back in the
old days...

I have no idea why the fight started or even who was involved, but there was
a lot of shrapnel on that particular flame war.

Name was Bob Morein. Seemed he had a grudge-stalker who, besides posting
disparaging remarks towards him, also impersonated him in some fake posts.

Dunno, but Marty, his stalker, has been spamming the living crap out of my
Oakland Raiders football NG.

So, whacha' thunk about Tuck?

LOL...took me a while but it finally hit!
Being an East Coaster, I've watched all the Giant games. Not sure if this
move is going to pan out for you guys.

The Raiders need to return to their glory days, but I think it's going to be
a looooonnngggg wait.
btw, I saw the Jets/Raiders in Shea Stadium back in the late 60's. The
Raiders were one scary team back then.

Yeah, that was the guy. Strange how the epic Morein/McCarty fight quickly
ramped up to 35 messages a day for years and years and years, and then
abruptly seemed to disappear overnight. I'm as baffled on why it ever
started as to why it finally ended!

Another grudge-stalker thing I recall included Gary Sokolich.
Seemed to have popped up in a number of news groups.

Then there was the Green Xenon [Radium] > guy....
Ah, but that was more trollish than grudge-stalker thing.
