As an aside that commentator was inappropriately arrogant,
although it's somewhat understandable given the decade.

At the end he says something about how there is no plectrum,
and that the guest plays "Finger Style" "Which is the 'right'
way to play the guitar". How wrong he turned out to be.
It's a very nice way to play the guitar, but as we go over
on this list time and again, one can get too caught up in
technique and equipment and forget all about what is the
most valuable aspect of the transmission of a musical idea;
the thing that you like about it.

I play exclusively a classical guitar with my nails, but I think
that the "teenagers" who could "afford the down payment" for
a guitar have blown a hole in his stuck-up tie-wearing 100 lb
torque ass.

Still, this was a beautiful performance by an individual who was
superlatively adept at expressing his small slice of the musical art
pie.

Wow, Steve Race at the start being a pompous ass about the guitar.
