Hello
I am looking for the best drum kit soundsets available in plug-ins /
something I can share with other people. I am already working with LM4
MKII but it is quite limited and I have to re-assign notes all the
time.
I rather looking for soundsets already assigned to the right notes to
match General Midi setting.
Anyone who have an idea about it?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, You can buy some really great drum sounds from Wizoo. You can get them
in multiple file types, including LM4. If you're looking to replace the LM4
with something else, look at "Battery" by Native Instruments. It's an
extremely useful and powerful drum module for VST or stand alone.

When you say plugins I assume you're willing to try a whole thing and new
just buy some new samples. A lot of people love http://www.fxpansion.com
DR-008. The new BFD is pretty cool I admit. A never seen before invention in
my book. As far as samples the Drumkit From Hell gets a lot of mention:

of soundfonts too.
